Diamonds aren't forever

I value -
The diamonds You sent
Lovingly my way
With gratitude I bow yet
To humbly say -
No, thank You,
While I am honoured
I won't accept
This is shortchange
For my desire to getaway
From humdrum and trappings
Holding soul to sway
Away from purpose
Of receiving Your ray;
In gift if You're giving
Give relief to my pine
Give that which I ask
Of You again and again
Its only eternal Union
With Your Presence
That I seek
In its bliss and peace
I am so content
Forever in this radiance
Happily I shall lay.
