Joyfully eccentric

I live in
World filled with those
vying to compete
to outdo the rest
in being seen -
Successful, sane and centred.

I open an eye
to peek
and glance
at tight medley and commotion,
charged by promise
of law of attraction
all endeavour
to shun soothe of dark
tending to seek
glare of good and glorious alone.

Driven by no goal
having no desire to make a mark
I stretch with yawn,
shut eyes to close
with languor and ease
I revel in beauty of the Whole
that lies within
when both light and dark
come together
to set glow and awaken;
in realisation of dawn
here I put down my sign
on card of gratitude
to say -
I am grateful and blessed
to be placed
eccentrically in my parole!
